The Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD is a professional all-in-one DJ System that marries together high-quality playability with an attractive design. The unit has standalone 4-deck playback capability, flexible media support, professional effects, fast track location and super-quality sound output.
The 4-deck standalone playback capability allows for up to 4 tracks on four different decks to be played at the same time, have tracks cued up or have the option for a free deck for potential requests. A clever feature to add is that the deck can be colour-coded, which is matched through the jog-wheel ring illumination. In addition, the effects on the Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD have been upgraded and feature Beat FX, FX Bank, Channel Select, XY-Pad, Smooth Echo and Sound Colour FX.
The OPUS QUAD unit features flexible input/output options, including four USB inputs, one Type-C, one Type-A and two standard USB ports on the top panel for connecting PC/Mac, laptop, mobile devices, SSD drive or something similar. The system also features Bluetooth wireless technology for connecting mobile devices or smartphones. In addition, the OPUS-QUAD can be used with rekordbox and Serato, and plug-and-play compatibility for rekordbox Performance Mode and Serato DJ Pro are available now.
High-quality Playability and Attractive Design
It’s hard not to notice the Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD with its elegant and stunning design, smooth curves and sloping top plate in a refined matte black finish with earth-coloured trims. The unit is inclined at a 5° angle, has round edges for comfortable hand rest, and the textured finish and dimples on the jog wheels provide adequate grip yet still look aesthetically pleasing. In addition, the lights surrounding the jog wheels work in harmony with the selected desk colours you have previously allocated, making it easier to know precisely which deck is in play. Overall, not only does the OPUSQUAD look good, but it also plays exceptionally well and allows you to create stunning performances that inspire audiences.
Standalone Functionality
The 4-deck standalone playback functionality allows up to four tracks on four different decks to be played at the same time, cued up, or keeps a deck free for prospective requests. A brilliant addition is the decks can be colour coded, which is matched by the jog-wheel ring illumination.
Advanced Professional Effects
The effects on the OPUS-QUAD have been elevated, featuring Beat FX, FX Bank, Channel Select, XY-Pad, Smooth Echo and Sound Colour FX. Beat FX can be used to add to the music to enhance atmosphere and hype. The use of the XY-Pad makes it easier to manage features such as FX Bank or Channel Select, and the pad can also impact Beat FX and the filter's cut-off frequency. The Smooth Echo feature ensures echo sound can be activated easily by moving the fader or knob pre-assigned to apply the effect when on. Finally, the Sound Colour FX provides more sound modification possibilities that will excite your audience.
Zone Output Option
The zone output option is where sound output is separate from master audio, allowing the flexibility of playing different musical genres in separate rooms within a venue.
